Sex crimes are punished extremely harshly and the sad truth is that many innocent people are in prison today in Florida and across the country, serving time for crimes they did not commit. With that said, it usually never pays to flee from police. It will not help your case, and you are likely to end up with additional charges, including fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest.

It is not uncommon for children to make up stories when they are mad at an adult. In some cases, kids can be coerced by their parents or other adults who are out for revenge.
