Gibsonton Man Charged with 50 Counts of Child Porn

A 46-year-old Gibsonton man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

The man was taken into custody Wednesday by Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents. He is facing 50 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child.

According to officials, the man is accused of uploading images of child pornography. Officials believe the man created some of the images himself.

Police alleged that dozens of pornographic images of children were found on the man’s computer. He is being held at the Hillsborough County Jail on a $625,000 bond.
