Frostproof Man Arrested for Possession of Child Porn

A 63-year-old Frostproof man is facing 68 counts of possession of child porn charges.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the man was at a health facility in Highlands County when staffers at the clinic said they saw him looking at child porn on his laptop.

Officials said during the investigation that followed, they found additional illegal images at his Frostproof home.

He has been charged with sexual battery on a child younger than 12 years old and 68 counts of possession of child pornography.

He remains in the Polk County Jail with no bond on the felony charges.
