Fort Lauderdale Employee Faces Four Felony Child Porn Charges

A Fort Lauderdale city employee has been placed on administrative leave after being arrested Friday for allegedly looking at child pornography in his car in a McDonald’s parking lot.

He faces four felony charges.

Investigators claim they were responding to a tip on Friday at around 2 a.m. when the man was apparently found viewing child porn on a computer in his car.

According to police, the man admitted to looking at child porn since December.

A spokesman for the city of Fort Lauderdale confirmed the man has worked as a city building inspector since 2006.
