Miami DADE Elementary School Teacher Charged with Sex Crime Fails to Show Up for Bond Hearing

A Miami-Dade public school teacher that was charged with sexual assault last week was a no show in bond court.

The man is apparently in poor health, according to reports.

He is a fifth grade teacher at Charles R. Hadley Elementary School and is facing six counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child younger than twelve years old, and another six counts on a child who is sixteen or older.

The man has been with the district for more than 30 years and there has never been a problem.

The criminal penalties attached to a sex crimes conviction are severe, and it’s important to take steps to defend against these types of allegations and charges. Our South Florida Sex Crimes Defense Attorneys at Whittel & Melton can help. We will investigate your case to the fullest extent and question any evidence and witness testimony.

In many sex crimes cases, the prosecution’s case is built around statements that are made by the accused to police. That is why we urge you to remain silent during police questioning, as they will take anything you say and twist it to work in their favor. Before you make any statements to police, please call us first so that we can make sure your rights are protected.
