Gainesville Man Arrested After Allegedly Exposing Himself to Children

A Gainesville man was arrested Sunday after police said he exposed himself repeatedly to two children.

The 49-year-old was charged with lewd or lascivious conduct involving victims under 16 years of age.

Both children told police that the man had exposed himself to them on several occasions for the past four years, according to a Gainesville Police Department report. They told police that the man would then begin to masturbate and asked them several times to touch him.

It’s unclear how old the children were or their relationship to the man.

The man was booked into the Alachua County jail. Bond was set at $150,000.
