Alachua County Woman Arrested for Allegedly Showing Pornography to Children

A 19-year-old Alachua County woman accused of showing pornography on her cellphone to several children was arrested early Saturday morning.

The woman was charged by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office with five counts of distributing obscene material to minors, according to her arrest report.

The children ranged in age from 9 to 17, and the alleged videos and images came from social media applications.

Police claim the woman reportedly admitted to deputies that she had shown one of the videos to a minor on Friday.
