An Edgewater Boy Scout leader and New Smyrna Beach employee is currently in jail without bond pending an investigation into child molestation and pornography charges.
The 56-year-old was arrested early Saturday. Investigators claim they received a tip in September and had been tracking him since.
Police allege the man’s social media activity turned up multiple child porn images and uncovered emails containing pictures of molestation.
He’s also accused of molesting a 14-year-old he knew.
