Lake County School Janitor Arrested on Child Porn Charges

Authorities in Florida have arrested an elementary school janitor in connection with the alleged exchange of sexual messages with a teenager.

The 29-year-old man was arrested Monday on charges of possessing a sexual performance of a child and transmitting harmful material to a 15-year-old boy.

The Lake County Sheriff’s office claim the teen’s parents handed over a cellphone that the man gave the teen. Reports alleged that the man and the teen exchanged explicit images and texts.

A Lake County school district spokeswoman said the man is on unpaid suspension and a recommendation for termination will be presented to the board today.
