A Gainesville man was arrested recently after police claims he sexually battered a woman.
On Sept. 19, shortly after midnight, the 34-year-old man allegedly approached the woman, who was sitting in the passenger seat of her car parked outside a McDonald’s, according to a Gainesville Police Department arrest report. He allegedly got in the driver’s seat and kissed the woman while touching her breasts.
Police claim he assaulted the woman with his fingers and held her down by sitting on her legs.
The man apparently then moved to the back seat and fell asleep. The woman’s father came to the vehicle and confronted the man.
He was arrested on sexual battery and was being held in the Alachua County jail.
