Seminole County Man Accused of Taking Inappropriate Pics of Minor

A Seminole man has been arrested two days in a row on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation and video voyeurism against a minor, according to reports.

The 60-year-old was arrested Dec. 13 after an alleged investigation revealed he had taken sexually explicit photos of a 10-year-old girl.

Detectives claim the man convinced the girl to model in a bikini style bathing suit so he could take pictures of her.

During the investigation, detectives claim they found that the man tried to convince two other girls to model in bathing suits for him. The girls’ ages ranged from 10 to 16-years-of-age.

The investigation also revealed that the man was convicted in 2001 for lewd and lascivious conduct – for taking sexually inappropriate photographs of a young girl.

The man was arrested at his home on Tuesday where detectives claim they found two handguns and ammunition. He was charged with one count of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, one count of Possession of Child Pornography, two counts of Felon in Possession of Firearm, and one count of Felon in Possession of Ammunition.

The man was released on a $60,000 bond that same day.

Detectives arrested the man again on Wednesday, Dec. 14, after new alleged video evidence showed the same 10-year-old girl being recorded at his home, without her knowledge.

Officials claim the video shows the girl changing into a bikini style bathing suit and shows the man taking sexually explicit photographs of the victim. According to the report, the video also shows the man touching the girl inappropriately.

Detectives allege the video was taken from a hidden camera inside the man’s home.

The man was transported back to the Pinellas County jail and is being held without bond. He is charged with one count of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation and one count of Video Voyeurism.
