Hillsborough County Teacher Accused of Molesting Student

A former Hillsborough County middle school teacher and soccer coach has been charged with molesting a teenage student.

The 29-year-old was arrested on Oct. 18 and accused of having had sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl several times in the back of a classroom.

The man was apparently a teacher’s aide at the time of the allegations, believed to have taken place between November 2016 and March 2017.

If you work with children, it is possible that, at some point, you might be falsely accused of child molestation or other sexually inappropriate behavior with a child. False accusations can ruin your life in more ways than one. These allegations can be intentionally made by an adult or a child based off of a misunderstanding or could even just be made up for no better reason than anger or payback.

Accusations of child molestation are a very serious matter. Such accusations often lead to criminal investigations and result in criminal charges, as well as loss of or suspension from employment.
